Learning Experiences

Attending Chase’s Child Care Corner should be an enjoyable experience for the child as well as the parent.  While at child care, your child will be exposed to many kinds of learning experiences including:

  • Arts and crafts
  • Music and fingerplays
  • Poems, books and flannel stories
  • Large and small muscle play both indoors and outdoors
  • Self-initiated play
  • Number learning and counting activities
  • Letter learning and recognition
  • STEM activities
  • Social development and Kindergarten readiness
  • Individual play time
  • Daily reading of age appropriate literature

If your child is enrolled full time in child care and does not have any issues with social skills or behavior problems, there is no need to pull them out for a “center/school based” preschool program.  Chase’s Child Care Corner offers the learning environment equivalent to that of any other “preschool” setting.  The benefit of Chase’s Child Care Corner is that the teacher to child ratio is substantially smaller (never more than 1 to 8), giving your child more individualized attention.   You child will be exposed to everything he or she needs to be successful once entering Kindergarten.   If you ever have a question or concern about your child’s development, please do not hesitate to ask!
